One annoying thing while traveling abroad, it’s the commissions charged by Banks on ATM withdraw operation. Plus, the money lost with exchange rates.
In Philippines like in so many other countries, many local banks also charge an extra commission/fee. Making a total of 3 processes where we loose money while doing a ATM withdraw.
Most banks in Philippines charge a fee of 200php for this operation.
A few charge 150php. And some don’t charge any commission.
I discover that Bank of Philippines Islands, doesn’t charges this extra commission. I have tried in several cities in Philippines, always with the same successful outcome.
This bank is widely spread, and present in most of cities in Philippines.
